Plaza El Cristo is located in the smaller grid northeast of Nueva Caracas or Pérez Bonalde, called Los Magallanes. With a circular layout, and four streets that converge in a cross onto it, it functions as the urban center of another sector of Catia and there are drawn records of its existence on blueprints, from when the Nueva Caracas development was being constructed (1929).
