Within the grid of the Vista Alegre neighborhood blocks, there is a center for sport activities and public spaces, where there are two sculptures of the Monagas brothers. The bronze sculptures (Albert-Ernest Carrier Belleuse, 1824-1887), with graceful body gestures are from 1870. The locals say of one of the sculptures: «Jose Tadeo has a swing». These are heritage pieces, part of valuable works of the period, in the parish with the most statues in Caracas.
